Reflection:
This was a project with the objective of creating a photoshopped picture meant to represent the self. I felt that the making a bunch of objects in the shape of a person was rather lame, so I decided to try and create something I felt looked nice, that also had all my hobbies and interests. I would say my favorite part of the picture is the the little red guy rocket jumping out of the planet, because rocket jumping is cool. The other parts of the picture are not in my preferred taste aside from the awesome space planets. Next time I am going to try and make everything more smoothly blended together, like it was all one picture. I didn't have enough experience this time around to make a polished final product. I used a lot of the quick selection tool because I wasn't too sure how to get a more refined 'slice' of a picture. Basically I just wrapped the quick select tool around the part of a picture I desired, and when I got too much of the picture, I would try my best to use the unselect sub-tool to refine the edges. Photoshop is something I can really get into, but I don't know where to safely download anything anymore. It seems every program I used to use got corrupted and the sites to download them have malware now. What a shame. Oh well, guess I'll shell out some money for this program sometime.
